Nature of the content

LocalNodeOps publishes hardware benchmarks, guides, and interactive calculators (such as the VRAM estimator) for informational purposes. Benchmark figures and calculator outputs are estimates based on published specifications and reference architectures — not guarantees of real-world performance for your specific hardware, model, or configuration. Verify critical decisions against your own testing before making a purchase.

Benchmark and VRAM data license

The hardware benchmark figures and VRAM calculator estimates published on this site — the numeric measurements themselves, not the surrounding article text, site code, or LocalNodeOps branding — are licensed under Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 (CC BY 4.0) . You may reuse this data, including commercially, provided you credit LocalNodeOps and link back to the source page.

This license does not extend to: the site's source code, design, or branding (see "Open-source content" below); the paid Local Node Docker Stack digital product; or article prose, headings, and commentary surrounding the data.

Model file sizes synced from Hugging Face remain under the license terms of their original source repository — CC BY 4.0 applies only to our own computed estimates (KV cache, runtime overhead, and totals derived from those files), not to the underlying files or their source licensing.

Open-source content

Where a repository or code sample is marked open-source, it is provided under the license stated in that repository. Absent an explicit license, no permission is granted to redistribute site content commercially.

Some posts and docs also contain affiliate links, with a disclosure. Neither is ever blended into the benchmark data or the VRAM calculator's output itself.

The calculator's math (model weight size, KV cache estimate, runtime overhead, and which local GPU profiles a configuration fits) is computed identically regardless of whether an affiliate relationship exists with any provider, and is never adjusted based on affiliate revenue. Local Node Docker Stack (digital product)

LocalNodeOps offers a paid digital product, the Local Node Docker Stack, sold and delivered through Lemon Squeezy, our merchant of record. Lemon Squeezy handles payment processing, applicable sales tax, and automated post-purchase delivery. By purchasing, you agree to the following terms in addition to Lemon Squeezy's own purchaser terms:

  • License. Purchase grants a single-user license to use the Docker Stack for your own local or personal-project deployments. Redistribution, resale, or publishing the Stack's contents as your own product is not permitted.
  • Refunds. Refunds are available within 7 days of purchase. Contact the address on the Contact page to request one.
  • No warranty on the product itself. The Docker Stack is provided "as is." We do not guarantee it will be compatible with every hardware configuration, model, or existing setup.
